Dr. Iyer is the founder and President of the In-Building Wireless Alliance. In January 2008 he joined WellDoc Communications as President and COO. WellDoc focuses on simplifying the way diabetes is managed by leveraging technology, information sharing, analytics, and collaboration, in conjunction with traditional innovation. He has more than 20 years of consulting, industrial, and academic experience in the areas of business strategy development, network engineering, economic modeling, service development, and value network analysis. Ian is President and CEO of LGC Wireless. Ian brings over thirty years of telecommunications industry experience to the position. Prior to LGC, Ian was the president of interWAVE Communications, a manufacturer of compact GSM microcellular equipment. In that role, he increased interWAVE's sales and acquired a number of private companies to broaden the product line and expand market reach. He led interWAVE's successful IPO, raising $130 million. Previously, Ian spent 20+ years at Nortel Networks, playing key roles in a number of different business units. Dan Burns is the Director, Systems Technology Building Efficiency for Johnson Controls Inc. Dan is responsible for locating, integrating, and enabling technologies in Johnson Controls products and offerings. Dan plays a major role in the overall strategic development and deployment of Johnson Controls Integrated Solutions approach to the delivery of products and services. He has proven that a strategic approach can deliver a better end product to customers at a lower cost than traditional construction. Dan started with Johnson Controls in 2004 as a Senior Systems Sales Executive and has successfully led the integration of enabling technologies into Johnson Controls products and services.
