Working Groups


The Marketing and Awareness working group focuses on proactive campaigns to promote the benefits of IBW and keep the industry apprised of its continued growth.

The Product and Services working group focuses on creating, maintaining, researching, and encouraging technical standards as they apply to IBW, especially as technology evolves, to enhance time to market and adoption.

The Real Estate Integration working group socializes IBW among building associations, property developers, REITs, and property managers. In addition, they provide a forum for participant discussion.

The Government and Public Safety working group advocates favorable legislation from federal, state, and local governments with regard to standardization, interoperability, and deployment for all IBW-related technologies.

The Pilot Building working group is developing and deploying a plan that selects a suitable facility and begins to co-locate solution elements that can be used for demonstration purposes, as well as objective measures of before and after productivity differences.
